Hello folks,

I'm putting all the information you'll need for the rest of the week here.

***Edit:I will also be out next week on Monday and Tuesday and posted additional information at the end of this post.

Reminder: Genetics Meme homework is due Friday. If you need a computer please stay after school with a teacher or in the library to complete it. I always look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Wednesday/Thursday

1) You'll be filling out your March "Mammal" Madness 2020 brackets. I will be putting up a larger bracket poster in the hallway next week.

You can check out this blog post for more info if needed.

Hand your completed bracket in and we will see who our winners are at the end of the month!!

2) Next please pair up (or one group of 3 if needed) to work on creating a poster based on one or more of our reproduction and genetics topics so far. Use the word wall for inspiration. There is a rubric in the protective sleeve to have at your tables. Please use and put away supplies appropriately. On the back of your poster please write your names and tell me who did what parts on the poster.

3) Complete the Behavior/Attitude with Substitute half sheet. This will be a 100 point classwork grade.

4) No hoods & phones off and away. If you ask nicely perhaps the sub will play some music for the classroom.

Friday

Watch first episode of Natural Born Hustlers. On the half sheet please write down each main animal and some information about it's adaptations. Turn this sheet in for a classwork grade.

Monday and Tuesday

Students will start on the topic of Natural Selection by completing modified notes using a slide show posted in Google classroom. They will also read and complete a section in their workbooks. I expect everyone will be respectful to the sub and get their work done during class.

Some great links have popped up in my emails and feeds lately about sites to source copyright-free images. Check them out!
