Reading to Children

November is National Literacy Month and the 8th graders have an opportunity to visit either the Academy of Early Learning or the Discovery School at Four Corners and read to preschoolers and kindergartners. To prepare, students have been practicing with a partner during Plus class and using some techniques to really engage the young kids. We're all looking forward to this fun project!
