GHS has been going through a NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) accreditation process that is culminating this week. Earlier in the year I reviewed the Core Values and Beliefs of GHS with students and had them write down their thoughts or examples of these values and beliefs in action in the school.

Here are some of the things students had to say:

"A value of this school is to have students persevere. A belief of this school is that all students can learn, succeed, and learn."

"I see that in a classroom, when people taking a test that [they] are quiet."

"When I see older kids (10-12th graders) helping us 8th graders."

"We learned about Multiple Intellegence Theory to know how we learn so we can succede. We talked about how the teachers can teach to help us learn."
