That's an quote from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Imagine being surrounded by water at sea and not being able to drink any of it (side note: Thor Heyerdahl tested this theory during his voyage on the Kon Tiki).
We've been talking about H2O so much in our chemistry unit, I wanted to take a little time to focus on water as a resource. Students read information about countries facing a water crisis in one form or another. We also discussed the issues Flint, Michigan is currently facing with their lead-contaminated water.
