Using YouTube Videos

There are a lot of fantastic videos out there to engage students with the topics we are covering in class. Many of the videos on my Review page are from YouTube, and I had been editing them with EdPuzzle (previously with Zaption). The struggle is that student computer accounts block these videos, making it difficult to assign any videos to watch.

I may have a work around.

Safeshare.tv was recommended from this MindShift post (along with other technology tools) and I thought I would try it out.

I used a TedEd video called "Just How Small is an Atom?" and will put it on Google Classroom for student to try and stream. We'll see how it goes!

**Edit- Looks like this is blocked on student accounts. I will keep trying!
