Popsicle Stick Bridges

Students are working hard to design and build bridges using popsicle sticks and glue. Before MCAS, students were on a webquest and looked into the shapes, materials and forces acting on bridges.

I also shared some interesting building and construction technology information from a Saturday Seminar class I took at UMass that was about the innovative construction in the new Design Building.

We will test our bridges next week and see which designs hold the most weight!
