Update and Thanksgiving

Time is flying I think.
Hard to believe we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving in a week!
We are finishing up our Weather unit with a quiz next week. After break we'll dive into how human activity impacts global temperatures. I feel that this is a very important topic to learn about and will have students work on a research project. The deadly fires in California are only emphasizing the importance for me. It also makes me pause and list the people and things I'm thankful for in my life right now.
Spirit week has started too. Today was Sports day and tomorrow we have Flannel Friday.
Next week is Dress Down (expect seniors who dress up), Twin/Dynamic Duo Day, then Class Color Day. Students should have their purple shirts ready to go!!
Wednesday will be a fun day with a Turkey Trot 2-mile walk/run, Thanksgiving BINGO, and a pep rally.
