I am serving as the 8th grade advisor this year!! We will be getting ready for Spirit Week in November, but first students will be voting for Student Council Representatives.

Students can run for a variety of Student Council positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Class Representative.

If any student is interested they can get a Candidacy Petition form from me. This lists the rules for running and is where they collect 20 signatures from other 8th graders.

This form AND their speech need to be submitted to me by Wednesday 10/19/16.

Students running for a position will give their speeches and their classmates will vote next Friday, 10/21/16, during the second half of Team at 11:15.

Please join us for our Fall Open House, Thursday 10/6 from 6:30-8 PM.

*Follow a Friday schedule and have an opportunity to meet teachers and staff.

*Counseling sessions on FAFSA, Powerschool & PSAT's

*Title 1 Information session

*Meet with Guidance Counselors
