I was sorry to miss our Rice Party and to wish you all Happy Holidays. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and I'll see you in 2015!

Here's a review of our genetic work so far:
Every organism has a set of instructions that determine its traits.
Heredity is the passage of these instructions from parent to offspring.
Trait instructions are contained in genes, located in the chromosomes of each cell.
Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes (for a total of 46 chromosomes.)
An inherited trait of an individual can be determined by one or by many genes, and a single gene can influence more than one trait.
A human cell contains many thousands of different genes.

Use this Furry Family virtual lab to practice your Punnett Square work and determine the phenotype (physical characteristics) and genotypes (genetic information) of a bunny family.
Here are two more Zaptions...One about Gregor Mendel and his Peas.

And one about Heredity.
At this point I hope that the tours will work. There is only one question to answer at the end- If I can get this going, then I'll make it more interactive.
