Welcome back from April vacation! I had students circle up at the beginning of classes on Monday to share anything they enjoyed over break. Sounds like there was a lot of staying up late and sleeping in.
We're going to review a couple subjects this week: Distance vs. Time and the 5 Kingdoms of Life. Ask your student about the 100 feet dash in the cafeteria hallway.
Next week students will begin researching and creating a poster/project based on a curriculum standard covered in 6th, 7th or 8th grade science. We will be creating a science museum to jump start our MCAS review. See the photos in the tab from the 2015 science museum.
There is a Passport Open House this Thursday evening. Please stop in to see some student work and get a stamp towards free ice cream!

We share the Earth with around 7 billion people.
What can you do to help protect our environment?
